Todd Hardin, PhD

Hello, my name is Todd Hardin and these days, I am a busy man. I am the counseling pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.  I am closing in on a decade of service here at Grace and perhaps the greatest satisfaction I have experienced comes from the numerous people God has blessed through Grace Biblical Counseling, a church-based counseling center I founded and still serve as the Executive Director.

Besides my church work, I also am an associate professor of psychology and counseling at the Baptist College of Florida (BCF). In addition to teaching at BCF, I also teach counseling, psychology, and pastoral ministry courses at a number of institutions in the United States and Canada.

Alongside my counseling and teaching responsibilities, I also co-host a Christian talk-radio show on Thursday mornings. When I am not pursuing my calling, I am spending time at home with my bride Brenda and our two sons.

Have a look around and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

My Story

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.  For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. ” ~ The Apostle Paul

My Philosophy of Education

“The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles but to irrigate deserts.” ~ C.S. Lewis

My Philosophy of Ministry

“Just as our love for God begins with listening to God’s Word, the beginning of love for other Christians is learning to listen to them.” ~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer

My Beliefs

“There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!” ~ Abraham Kuyper
